We are excited to share the launch of our Chief Cook of the Year competition, scheduled for the second week of December 2024 in the Philippines. In this unique maritime event, Chief Cooks will showcase their culinary talents during a live cooking session. This event is designed to honor the Chief Cooks on our ships, celebrating their dedication and skill.To join the competition, cooks can apply via the Chief Cook of the Year page.While we are mainly inviting cooks trained by IFS, we also are including wildcard entries to ensure other experienced cooks receive recognition. That's why we invite nominations of skilled cooks from our clients' fleet. Nominees will be contacted with information on participation, including the submission of a video demonstrating their cooking techniques and a selected recipe.For more information or to nominate a Chief Cook, please reach out to us.
