OVER IFS: International Food Services is een onafhankelijke maritieme catering organisatie. Wij bieden catering van de hoogste kwaliteit en monitoren leveringen en de consumptie aan boord van onze klanten in de scheepvaart. Op dit moment bedienen we meer dan 800 schepen. IFS heeft kantoren te Antwerpen, Singapore, Polen en Manila waar in totaal ongeveer 70 FTE werkzaam zijn. OVER DE FUNCTIE: Ter opvolging van onze collega welke over een aantal jaar met pensioen gaat zoeken wij een fulltime IT Manager/Developer. Als bedrijf zijn we volop aan het groeien en aan het ontwikkelen, de toekomstige IT manager moet hier goed op kunnen anticiperen. We verwachten van jou om de juiste services op te zetten, zoals cyber security implementatie, awareness en het onderhouden en aansturen van een (extern) team van ontwikkelaars in een ander land. Kortom een diverse functie waarbij het heel belangrijk is de juiste vertaling te kunnen maken tussen het IT vak en de behoefte vanuit de operationele organisatie. We hebben de taken opgedeeld in drie verschillende domeinen, hieronder volgt iets meer informatie in detail over de functie: Domein : IT Infrastructuur - IFS zit volledig in Azure/Cloud omgeving voor haar IT infrastructuur. Deze wordt door een externe partner beheerd en onderhouden. De taken voor dit onderdeel zijn als volgt: Eerste contactpersoon van externe partner Opvolging noden in functie van maintenance/development/security in samenspraak met externe partner Controle facturatie Rapportering naar IFS management Boekhouding Exact Global (server bij externe partner) – data uitwisseling opvolgen Domein: Software - IFS gebruikt veel op maat gemaakte software. Uitbesteed aan externe partner. Alle applicaties zijn web-based. Taken bestaan uit de volgende zaken: Maken van een functionele analyse voor de software die we ontwikkelen Prioriteiten kunnen stellen ivm de aanvragen voor ontwikkeling vanuit de operationele afdelingen & deze juist kunnen beoordelen of de ontwikkeling de gewenste processen ondersteunen Opvolging en goedkeuren design documenten met technisch ontwerp Testen software Opvolging projecten, inclusief facturatie Opvolging contracten externe partner, inclusief facturatie Rapportering naar IFS management Onderhouden van de verschillende APP’s en toekomstige training projecten Zelf ontwikkelen van nieuwe apps behoort tot de mogelijkheden Domein : Netwerk - IFS netwerk & hardware beheer Ontwerp, beheer, onderhoud en optimalisatie van computernetwerken in de organisatie ● Installeren en configureren van netwerk protocollen inclusief de beveiliging ● Het bewaken van netwerk presentaties en het oplossen van netwerkproblemen WAT ZOEKEN WIJ: Iemand die op professioneel niveau de Engelse taal beheerst zowel schriftelijk als mondeling en alle technische begrippen goed kan vertalen. ABOUT THE POSITION: IFS is growing rapidly, to make sure our services are guaranteed to the clients we are looking for a Full time Catering Superintendent who will be supporting on training, audit/stock takes and trouble shooting at our offices or on board the clients vessels. The main job would be to represent our company and to train the catering crew on our standard operating procedures and way of working. With a focus on safety, quality, variety and waste management.This includes training on cooking skills, menu planning, QHSE and another range of maritime catering standards. Within this position you will work closely together with our different departments internally such as operations,crewing and procurement and externally you will be in contact with our clients, catering crew, suppliers and captains, to give your support where you can. You would mainly give training in Belgium at our Maritime Food Lab in Antwerp, however you would work globally based on the location of the vessels of the clients. You would have to travel frequently in a 1-2 rotation with exceptions when urgent issues arise. The main tasks/responsibilities will be: Project setup; start up new projects (organizing kitchen, storage and working schedules for the crew on board)● Conducting audits against a range of maritime catering standards and create the audit report in our system● Conducting stock takes according to the IFS standards and add these in to the IFS system● Troubleshooting and problem solving on board. Analyzing the situation on board and assist with new set-up/ required changes● Build strong business relationships with clients● Available at all times to travel to the vessels when the project requires● Cook training: training and coaching of cooks on board or at our training center● Menu updating and awareness; continuously develop/update your knowledge in regards to the multicultural cuisines and support in creating/selecting menus per crew and client requirements WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:● Fluent in English on a professional level● Computer literacy (MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)● 5+ years knowledge and working experience within the maritime catering industry● Good hygiene legislation knowledge. ABOUT THE POSITION IFS is growing rapidly, and to make sure our services are guaranteed to our clients, we are looking for a full-time IFS catering auditor who will be responsible for daily ship visits to do a full inventory and stock count and a catering audit on board our clients' vessels.The main job would be to represent our company, make a proper inventory, and advise the crew on board on the IFS operating procedures and way of working.With a focus on safety, quality, variety, and waste management. Within this position, you will work closely with our different departments internally, such as operations, crewing, and procurement, as well as externally. You will be in contact with our clients, catering crew, suppliers, and captains to give your support where you can.Location: you would mainly work in the Benelux or sometimes at our Maritime Food Lab in Antwerp. In due time, we might ask you to also travel abroad, depending on where the client vessel comes in to perform the stock count and audit there. The main tasks/responsibilities will be:Conducting stock takes according to the IFS standards and add these into the IFS system Conducting audits against a range of maritime catering standards and create the audit report in our system Build strong business relationships with our clients Available at all times to travel to the vessels when they arrive in a nearby port WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Fluency in Dutch and English on a professional level Computer literacy (MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook); 5+ years of knowledge and working experience within the catering industry as a Chief Cook or similar position Good hygiene legislation knowledge.
