“I would like to present my cooking skills to the Iron Chef competition judges to show them my ability and style.” Meet Jimmy Patina, Senior Chief Cook Instructor.

What dish do you love to make?

Jimmy: "I prefer Teriyaki because then I can cook different kinds of meat such as salmon, tuna, chicken, pork or beef. And of course it is acceptable to all nationalities."

What is the biggest number of people you've already cooked for?

Jimmy: "The biggest number of people I ever cooked for was on an offshore vessel for roughly more than 200 persons from different nationalities: Western, European, African and Asian. We prepared 4 kinds of main courses every day and different kinds of bread, sweet and pastry!"

What is the nicest compliment you ever got about the food you prepare?

Jimmy: "Someone said: I love the way you cook. It has a lot of variety and nice presentation.

It is my thing to not repeat the food I cook every week. As much as possible, it has to be a 3 weeks to 1 month interval."

Who would you like to cook food for?

Jimmy: "I would like to present my cooking skills to the Iron Chef competition judges to show them my ability and style."
