Catering supply

A GLOBAL NETWORK FOR GLOBAL VOLUME.

IFS has power in numbers, wherever you are.

Up to 15.000.000 meals per year are served using IFS supplied maritime products.  This gives us 10.000.000 reasons to negotiate better prices with our suppliers.

Based on a yearly tender process we make sure all of our suppliers provide products of the highest quality at the best possible price on the market.  Thanks to this closely monitored procedure we avoid unpleasant surprises both for us and our customers.

Whether we rely on our own extended network of worldwide suppliers or work closely together with your preferred contacts, it is our goal to always provide food that takes into account the cultural composition, the personal preferences and the whereabouts of the crew.

The four rules of IFS maritime catering

With the IFS catering methodology the emotional value of food becomes a tangible and measurable property. And with 100.000 ship and offshore meals being served every year using IFS-supplied ingredients, we take this responsibility seriously.

Good food

We work with an extended network of diverse, worldwide suppliers to ensure that we always provide food that takes into account the culture, personal preferences and whereabouts of your crew.  Already have a preferred contact? No problem, we'll work with them to ensure the same level of services.

Sound Budgets

the IFS increased buying power in combination with our uniquely developed software/reporting package allows us to assist you in keeping your budgets on track.  Detailed reports significantly increase transparency of the ships' catering budget, which allows you to monitor, evaluate and react quickly to changes.

Smart tools

Finding the right tools, cleaning products or kitchen equipment, monitoring the budget and making sure the staff is satisfied is not an easy job, and it requires a high level of attention.  IFS provides useful reporting packages, kitchen supplies and Academy information, all accessible on-line from anywhere in the world

Passion

Be educated and be passionate.  If you know your job and love what you do, you will earn the respect of the crew, your team members and suppliers.  When on board of a ship, always try to keep in mind existing cultural, culinary and economical differences.
